As part of the Hotel Cabaña del Lago’s expansion, a new meeting place has just opened. Some of the novelties include the biggest heated pool in Puerto Varas, and an event room.
It’s summer in Chile. A season that invites to get away and discover the breathtaking landscapes of Puerto Varas and its surroundings. The best opportunity to enjoy one of the novelties in the Los Lagos region: Hotel Cabaña del Lago Club House. Provided with a unique architecture which recaptures the identity of the area, this new meeting place opens in September, with an impressive view of the Lake Llanquihue and Osorno, Calbuco and Puntiagudo volcanoes.
“This Club House is an invitation to anyone looking for a place to relax all year round. We are certain that its architecture, services and warmth offered to our visitors will allow Cabañas del Lago to make a difference in the hotel offer in Puerto Varas”, commented Víctor Wellmann, Director of Hotel Cabaña del Lago.
So, the project comes to complement the proposal from Hotel Cabaña del Lago, with a rustic mountain style, 125 rooms and the Club del Lago, 4 large cabins with 32 premium rooms inspired by the architecture of ancient German country houses. Projects which participate in the history of the city, designed and built by a traditional German family, settled in the area since the mid XIX century.
The new Club House rests at the foot of Phillipi Hill, an iconic place in the city, with trekking trails and native vegetation from the area, and a great panoramic 200 meters heated pool-the biggest in the city-with a design worthy of the beautiful scenery of southern Chile. Plus, it is provided with a comfortable event room with a panoramic view of Lake Llanquihue; ideal for weddings, celebrations and company events, with a capacity of 220 people. The project also includes an exercise room, a hot tub, as well as more than 50 underground parking spaces for the convenience of all our guests.
The Club House is completely decorated by Enrique Concha, with noble materials and fixtures, where great design takes on a vital role, fusing local elements such as wood, stone and glass that invite to enjoy the experience of simplicity of nature. Additionally, the Club House is provided with sustainable technologies and some recycled materials, such as exterior wooden coverings and volcanic materials for interior walls.
